When it comes to Nikon cameras, I have used a lot of them! It all started out with my first film SLR camera, the Nikon 801S. I love Nikon cameras and the Nikkor lenses. I have some experience with other brands of cameras like Canon, Sony, Fujifilm when I have taught others about photography and they bring their cameras. However, my expertise is with the Nikon System.
Along with that Nikon 801S camera, I actually own a number of Nikon film cameras like the Nikon F, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F90, F90X, and F100. In addition to this, I also own or have used a number of Nikon DSLR cameras like the Nikon D200 (my first DSLR), D4S, D850, D6, D5600, D7000, D7500. Finally, I have had some experience with mirrorless cameras including the Nikon Z7ii and now finally the Z9.
Having some experience with the other Top of the line Nikon cameras like the D6 and the Z7ii, I wanted to know how the Z9 compared to these amazing cameras.
One of my favourite things about the D6 is its ability to accurately focus on a fast moving subject. Check out my full review of the Nikon D6:
The first mirrorless camera that I ever loved was the Nikon Z7ii. One of my favourite things about the Z7ii is the eye detection autofocus. It is a revolution in photography. See my review in the video below:
The Z9 is an unbelievable blend of the D6 and the Z7ii. It is like the Nikon’s first mirrorless camera with dynamic autofocus and it is like nothing I have ever experienced. The Z9 has eye detection like the Z7ii but can track the subject like the D6. This is the camera of my present and future. Check out the Z9 in action in the video:
